Welcome from ALL KIDS TRAINING RESOURCES!

All Kids Training Resources, a not-for-profit (501c3), was established and is
currently run entirely by volunteer efforts of local parents of children with special needs.
AKTR assists families of children with special needs by providing opportunities
for education and training.  Assistance is provided in three ways:

1) We assist family members with financial and planning assistance in hosting conferences
in Central Pennsylvania on topics dealing with special needs;
2) We help provide family members with financial assistance to attend conferences;
3)  We assist local and state agencies in developing and delivering services specifically
for families of children with special needs.

Yvette Erdley, walking at last year's Walk with her two sons.

The 2009 Williamsport Autism Conference
has been CANCELLED.

The 2009 Walk for Autism
will still be taking place on April 4th.

The following is a letter from
All Kids Training Resources founder,
Ed Barone:

After much discussion and deliberation at the last All Kids Training Resources Autism Conference Committee meeting,
we decided that, due to the current economic situation, it would be best to cancel the 2009 Autism Conference.

We regret the decision but feel it is best to bow out of a conference in the planning stages than to put one on that
doesn't meet our usual high standards.

To those of you that have put effort into this conference--
Many Thanks!

If you have already sent in your conference registration,
be assured that you will be mailed back your registration
materials and checks in the next few weeks.

We are, however, continuing on with the Walk for Autism,
as the monies raised last year have helped so many.

The 2009 Walk for Autism: "Walk in My Shoes"
is taking place on Saturday, April 4th at 12:00 noon
at Lycoming College's Lamade Gym.
We will be raising funds for AutismLink and for the
AKTR Lycoming-Clinton Respite Care Program,
which has provided respite care funds to 40 local families.

Thank you all for your understanding and
your continued support of All Kids Training Resources.

Sincerely,
Ed Barone
Founder of AKTR
